As a Senior Analyst at Prairie Capital Advisors, Joshua Chin performs financial analysis and modeling services, as well as analyzes the business dynamics and trends of publicly traded companies. In addition, he performs merger and acquisition (M&A) research and prepares narrative reports in support of a wide variety of valuation projects, including Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP), leveraged buyouts (LBO), management buyouts (MBO) and other capital structuring projects for clients nationwide.
Prior to his tenure at Prairie Capital Advisors, Mr. Chin was an Experienced Audit Associate at PricewaterhouseCooper’s Assurance practice in the Energy, Utilities, Mining and Infrastructure group in Toronto, Canada. The scope of his clients included multi-billion dollar mining conglomerates as well as junior mining producers and explorers. His work at PwC involved performing various due diligence procedures and to gain an in depth of knowledge of the client and its industry to issue an audit opinion.
Mr. Chin is a graduate from the Richard Ivey School of Business, from which he received his Honors Business Administration. He has passed all three examinations for the Canadian Chartered Accountant designation. He is also a licensed CPA.
