Nicholas Dolan joined Prairie Capital Advisors in 2015. He performs financial analysis and modeling services, as well as analyzes the business dynamics and trends of publicly-traded companies. In addition, Nick performs merger and acquisition (M&A) research and prepares narrative reports in support of a wide variety of valuation projects, including employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), leveraged buyouts (LBOs), management buyouts (MBOs) and other capital structuring projects for clients nationwide. His other responsibilities include seamless communication with clients, trustees and other service providers. Nick also leads Prairie’s internship program for the Oakbrook Terrace office.
Additionally, Nick presents webinars and speaks at conferences on various topics including ESOP education, value drivers and ownership culture.
Prior to joining Prairie, Nick worked as a senior consultant in the US OTC Structured Products at Northern Trust’s Hedge Fund Services. Nick was a liaison between trading desk, reconciliation and control group, and counterparties to resolve any economic discrepancies on trades in a timely and efficient manner. Additionally, Nick managed the settlement of swap cash flows associated with OTC derivative products, including unwinds, quarterly fees, resets and premiums.
Before working at Northern Trust, Nick worked as a Collateral Analyst for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, ensuring that hedge funds and financial institutions were sufficiently collateralized against any market risk.
Nick holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Management and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and Economics from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL.
