Research Analyst
Nicole Gombotz joined Prairie Capital Advisors in 2017. She provides economic, industry and market research in support of Prairie’s valuation and investment banking engagements. Nicole’s principal responsibility is analyzing the business dynamics and trends of Prairie’s client industries. Given that Prairie’s client base is largely comprised of closely-held companies, she makes use of a wide variety of data sources regarding small- to mid-sized companies and their industries.
In addition, Nicole assists in researching and writing Prairie’s white papers, articles and other publications. She is also a member of the team that creates Prairie Industry Perspectives, a publication series that provides analysis and assessment of the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and financing markets for growing industry segments. In addition, Nicole is part of the team responsible for Prairie’s ESOP Newsletter.
Nicole is a member of Prairie’s ESOP Committee.
Prior to joining Prairie, Nicole was a middle school English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher and team leader.
Nicole earned a Master of Arts degree in Teaching, with endorsements in Middle School Education, English Language Arts, Social Studies, French and Mathematics, from National-Louis University in Lisle, IL. She also received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Northern Illinois University.
