Franco Silva is a Vice President in the Chicago office of Prairie Capital Advisors. Mr. Silva advises middle market companies on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), ESOP Advisory, fairness opinions and other investment banking advisory services. Mr. Silva has worked in a variety of industries with particular emphasis in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC), financial services, health care services, manufacturing, business services, consumer retail and distribution markets. Mr. Silva serves as a trusted advisor to a diverse range of clients nationwide delivering highly strategic consultation. Mr. Silva is a frequent featured speaker in forums around the country on topics covering ownership transition planning, ESOP Advisory, capital management and more. He is currently a Chapter Officer and VP of Membership for the Illinois ESOP Association. Mr. Silva is the current Illinois ESOP Association Chapter President.
Mr. Silva has averaged 5-8 transactions per year with aggregate enterprise value of over $1 billion. In addition, he has provided strategic corporate finance advisory services for over 150 privately-held companies nationwide. Prior to joining Prairie Capital Advisors in 2007, Mr. Silva worked for the Corporate Finance Division of Jones Lang LaSalle in Chicago, Illinois.
Mr. Silva holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Accountancy from DePaul University. He has participated in numerous technical seminars on leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions and corporate valuations.
Mr. Silva currently holds FINRA Series 79 and 63 securities licenses.
