Alexander Grasser joined Prairie Capital Advisors in 2025 and is a leader in the ESOP Consulting practice. Alex focuses on advising company boards of directors, shareholders and leadership teams on the complexities of employee stock ownership plan (“ESOP”) sustainability, plan design and company executive compensation practices.
Alex is actively involved in the employee ownership community and frequently speaks at conferences and industry events including programs hosted by The ESOP Association (“TEA”) and the National Center for Employee Ownership (“NCEO”). Thought leadership topics include ESOP sustainability, repurchase obligation planning, executive compensation and transaction design. In addition, Alex serves as Vice President of Programming for the Ohio/Kentucky Chapter of The ESOP Association and is a member of TEA’s national Advisory Committee on Fiduciary Issues.
Prior to joining Prairie, Alex was a Shareholder and Director of ESOP Sustainability at SCJ Fiduciary Services, where he specialized in ESOP repurchase obligations, sustainability planning and transaction plan design. He also held roles at Blue Ridge ESOP Associates, Findley and Principal Financial Group, where he focused on ESOP sustainability, transaction compliance, business development and ESOP financial analysis. With more than a decade of experience advising on ESOPs and employee benefit plans, Alex has presented at numerous national conferences.
