Jamie joined Prairie Capital Advisors in 2024 with nearly 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”) and capital raising, both as an investment banker and a corporate strategy executive. At Prairie, Jamie leads business development and transaction execution for middle market privately-held companies seeking ownership transition and for large corporate clients seeking divestitures. Jamie’s transaction experience spans across a range of industries. As a trusted advisor, Jamie navigates clients through the full lifecycle of business ownership transition, the exploration of strategic alternatives and structuring considerations, and other special situations. Jamie is deeply involved in all aspects of the transaction to meet the client’s objectives and drive value creation.
Prior to joining Prairie, Jamie held investment banking positions with JP Morgan, Bear Stearns, Truist, and Navidar. Jamie also led corporate development and strategy for two publicly traded industrial businesses, designing and executing the M&A playbook for these organizations on a global basis. In addition, Jamie founded and operated a successful consulting practice focused on corporate strategy and M&A for middle market founder-owned businesses, often serving in interim roles such as CFO and VP of Strategic Partnerships.
Jamie earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management and Accounting from Clemson University. Jamie currently holds a FINRA Series 79 license.
