Maria Kabeer joined Prairie Capital Advisors in 2026. She provides economic, industry and market research in support of Prairie’s valuation and investment banking engagements. Maria’s principal responsibility is analyzing the business dynamics and trends of Prairie’s client industries. Given that Prairie’s client base is largely comprised of closely-held companies, she makes use of a wide variety of data sources regarding small- to mid-sized companies and their industries.
In addition, Maria is a member of the team that creates Prairie Industry Perspectives, a publication series that provides analysis and assessment of the mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”) and financing markets for growing industry segments.
Before joining Prairie, Maria was a Global Security Intern at BioMarin Pharmaceutical, where she conducted open-source analysis to assess international security risks and supported global risk management initiatives. Maria further developed her analytical and leadership skills as a Project Leader at The Ohio State University Drone Center, where she led research-driven planning efforts and delivered strategic recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
