Matt Smolke joined Prairie Capital Advisors in 2026. He supports the firm’s human resources operations by coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes, assisting with recruitment efforts and helping implement programs that enhance employee engagement and organizational efficiency. In addition, Matt works closely with employees to address HR-related needs and contributes to a positive and productive workplace environment.
Before joining Prairie, Matt was a Human Resources Coordinator at Skybox Capital, where he managed onboarding and offboarding processes, processed payroll and led initiatives like employee wellness and referral programs. He previously built a strong foundation in HR and operations through roles at The Horton Group and Aramark, along with early leadership experience at Amazon and Illinois State University, supporting benefits administration, recruitment and employee engagement.
