Melissa Goetz joined Prairie Capital Advisors in 2018. Melissa’s work focuses on advising company boards of directors, shareholders and management teams on employee stock ownership plan (“ESOP”) valuation matters and ownership transition planning. Melissa is actively involved in the employee ownership community and frequently speaks at conferences and industry events including Prairie-hosted webinars and chapter conferences sponsored by The ESOP Association (“TEA”).
Thought leadership topics include ESOP valuation, ownership transition planning and business valuation matters. In addition, Melissa serves on the membership committee of the Heart of America Chapter of The ESOP Association (“TEA”). She also co-authored a chapter on ESOP strategies in the book, Exit Planning: The Definitive Guide, published in conjunction with the Business Enterprise Institute.
