Vanessa Ely joined Prairie Capital Advisors in 2023 and supports the firm’s marketing efforts by managing a range of initiatives, including public relations, social media, content review and formatting, design elements and general marketing support. She works closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to execute and coordinate marketing projects across the firm.
In addition, Vanessa serves as Vice Chair of Prairie’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan (“ESOP”) Committee, contributing to firmwide communication, education and celebration of Prairie’s employee ownership culture.
Prior to joining Prairie Capital Advisors, Vanessa worked as a Communications Manager for a large church in the western suburbs of Chicago. She was responsible for executing corporate communications and marketing strategy for church-wide initiatives, encompassing both digital and print platforms. In addition to marketing, Vanessa’s professional journey has afforded her experience in administration, recruiting, and sales in non-profit and marketplace settings.
