Yuhi Kamimura joined Prairie Capital Advisors in 2024. He has extensive experience advising middle-market companies, shareholders and trustees on employee stock ownership plan (“ESOP”) transactions, fairness opinions, leveraged buyouts, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”) and other strategic advisory engagements.
Before joining Prairie, Yuhi served as Vice President at Kroll, LLC, where he specialized in generating fairness and solvency opinions for both publicly traded and privately owned companies across diverse transactions such as M&A, dividend recapitalizations, spin-offs, take-private acquisitions, management buyouts, debt issuance, and fund-to-fund transfers. At Kroll, Yuhi was part of the Valuation Advisory Service business unit in the firm’s Tokyo office for three years. In the Tokyo office, he had experience executing engagements for purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment testing, business valuation and assisting the firm’s M&A group reach to potential Japanese buyers. Yuhi has experience in a wide range of industries, including automotive parts, consumer products, energy, food & beverage, healthcare, industrial machinery, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and technology, among others. Prior to Kroll, Yuhi was a consultant with KPMG.
Yuhi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Yuhi currently holds FINRA Series 63 and 79 securities licenses.
