Shaun McGehee

Shaun McGehee joined Prairie Capital Advisors in 2004 and is a shareholder in the firm. He is a senior member of Prairie’s ESOP Sell-Side Investment Banking Practice. Shaun’s work focuses on advising company boards of directors and shareholders on new ESOP formations, transaction structuring, valuation matters and ownership transition planning.

Shaun is actively involved in the employee ownership community and frequently speaks at conferences and industry events, including Prairie-hosted events as well as programs presented by The ESOP Association (“TEA”), the National Center for Employee Ownership (“NCEO”) and various business organizations. Thought leadership topics include ownership transition, ESOP transactions and culture and communication within ESOP companies. In addition, Shaun serves as a board member of The Shamrock Companies and as a Member of The ESOP Association’s Finance Committee.

In 2019, Shaun was recognized as a Top 40 Under Forty Honoree by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (“NACVA”).
