Operating ESOPs with Intention: How Key Decisions Impact Stakeholder Value

|12:00–1:00 PM C.T.

This session explores how ESOP decisions influence the way value is spread across key stakeholder groups. From the impact of distribution policies and payout timing to share segregation, recycling, redeeming, and releveraging strategies, these choices can have significant implications for plan participants, the plan sponsor and other shareholders alike.

Using real-world examples, our panel will discuss how common ESOP decisions impact active participants, terminated participants awaiting distribution, future plan participants and non-ESOP stakeholders (such as outside shareholders or synthetic equity holders).

Moderated by Alex Grasser the discussion will feature perspectives from a third-party administrator and legal counsel, along with trustee insights on how these decisions intersect with fiduciary considerations. Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of how plan design choices affect value allocation and how organizations can think strategically about these decisions.

After the live webinar, a recording link will be emailed to all who registered.
