Rebecca McElwain

Director

Rebecca McElwain joined Prairie Capital Advisors in 2020. She manages, executes and delivers fair value analyses and reports for privately-held and publicly-traded clients, including valuations for purchase price allocations, portfolio and fund valuations, equity-based compensation, and indefinite and long-lived intangible asset impairment testing. Rebecca works to ensure seamless communication with clients and trusted service providers.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Prairie, Rebecca held several financial manager positions including that of Senior Manager in the Valuation and Business Analytics group at BDO USA, LLP. Her responsibilities included advising Fortune 1000 CFOs, controllers and closely-held business owners on the value of various classes of equity and ownership interests for financial reporting and tax planning purposes. Prior to that, Rebecca was a Manager in the Valuation & Financial Advisory Services group of Deloitte in which she performed valuations for Fortune 500 clients for both domestic and foreign transactions.

Education

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Penn State University.
