OAKBROOK TERRACE, IL – June 26, 2024 – Prairie Capital Advisors, Inc. (“Prairie”) is pleased to announce that Braner USA, Inc. (“Braner” or the “Company”) has been acquired by Holleway Capital Partners (“Holleway”). Prairie acted as exclusive financial advisor in this transaction to Braner and its shareholders and was led by Tim Witt and Macie Dorow of Prairie. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Braner is recognized globally for the design, engineering and production of ultra-precision high-performance flat rolled coil processing and automated coil handling systems. More than 1,000 Braner coil processing systems are in operation today, serving metal service centers and OEMs around the world. Braner’s highly engineered systems process carbon steel, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless and electrical steels, among others, to precise width, length and gauge tolerances.
Holleway Capital Partners is a private equity firm backing management teams to buy or recapitalize the companies they operate, providing succession and liquidity to business owners. They work to acquire manufacturers and distributors of industrial products headquartered in the Greater Midwest and Southern regions of the United States. The team at Holleway has more than 60 years of combined experience in partnering with family and entrepreneurial-owned companies. In addition to Holleway, the investor group included Aldine Capital Partners, NewSpring Mezzanine Capital and Braner CEO Doug Matsunaga.
